The company VMW s.r.o. builds on the long-term experience and work of its founder and owner since 1993, who was one of the first to participate in building a portfolio of the first original small arms in the history of Slovakia at all.
The priority of the company VMW s.r.o. is innovation and originality combined into an interesting design. The advantage is professionalism and many years of experience, which have allowed the company VMW s.r.o. to implement and own a world-unique portfolio of VMS (VIKTOR MICHUT SYSTEM) products. Due to their technical parameters and features, and thanks to unique globally patented solutions, these products rank among the absolute top in the world in their class, which are intended primarily for professionals.
The founder of VMW s.r.o. has been involved in the field of small arms projects since 1993, shortly after the establishment of the independent Slovak Republic. He participated in and was involved in the birth and creation of the first small arms in the history of Slovakia at all. It was the now pioneering and legendary PS ARROW model from the Považské strojárne a.s. Považská Bystrica company, later marked PS 97S, belonging to the line of all-metal models. In the years 1995 to 1998, there were other well-known models in which he significantly participated, namely PS 97A, PS 97B intended for the needs of the MINISTRY OF DEFENSE OF THE SR and ASR (Army of the Slovak Republic) and PS STING I, PS STING II intended for the needs of the MINISTRY OF INTERIOR OF THE SR. From the end of 1996 until 2002, he collaborated on the development of a new model line of pistols with a plastic frame within the company Považské strojárne a.s. Považská Bystrica, under the designation Q2000 later known as K1 and K100. In 1999, he became the author of the PS STING III pistol, and PS STING comfort, which closed the line of all-metal pistol models in Slovakia. In the same period, he was the author of patented solutions necessary for the further development of the automatic hand grenade launcher known as RAG 30, caliber 30mm for the VOG17 cartridge, which at that time began to be solved in cooperation with the CZW company.
At the end of 1999, he created the first model of a submachine gun in the history of Slovakia, known as the PDW PS 2000, on which he implemented several of his own patents. After finishing his work at the Považské strojárne company, he continued to develop the vision of the project idea of the first and original Slovak submachine gun and self-loading carbine on his own and expanded it with several new patented solutions. He financed the project in the area of marketing and development 100% with his own financial resources.
The company VMW s.r.o. carries out development, production and provides the companies with which it cooperates with the most important own know-how, which is essential for the successful implementation of projects.
This mainly concerns know-how in the field of plastic parts and molds, know-how of materials used in the field of plastic and metal parts, know-how of chemical and heat treatment, know-how of surface treatments, know-how of design, know-how of prototype creation and serial production.
Currently, VMW s.r.o. produces and has a portfolio of the VMS (VIKTOR MICHUT SYSTEM) model line protected by world patents, which is among the absolute world leaders in its class, intended primarily for professionals, police units, and army units. The VMS (VIKTOR MICHUT SYSTEM) model line, which VMW s.r.o. produces, also includes models for the civilian sector. VMW s.r.o. also has the VMP model line, intended for a wide range of police units, the army, and the civilian sector.
